Who Can Apply for CSR Funding?

Under the Companies Act 2013 and the CSR Amendment Rules 2021, the following entities are eligible:

Eligible Entities

Registered Society with 3+ years of activity
Public Trust with 3+ years of activity
Section 8 Company with 3+ years of activity
NGO registered under Section 12A & 80G
Entities established specifically for CSR
Central/State Government-established bodies

Note: NGOs without 3-year track records can still apply if established specifically to carry out CSR activities for a company.
